International Trilingual School of Warsaw teaches pupils from 1 to 15 years of age in English, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese and Polish. It follows the curriculum based on the comparison of British, American, Japanese, French, Spanish, Chinese and Polish national curricula.
Our priority is to enable students to pass seamlessly between educational systems while maintaining the native level of native and foreign languages.
International Trilingual School of Warsaw is a nursery, kindergarten and primary school with a strong emphasis on languages—children from one to fifteen years of age are educated in three languages: English, Polish, and French (but also Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese). At the core of the program is the concept that early multilingualism develops by age three, when children acquire languages naturally. The three languages taught are treated equally—as mother tongues. The school’s program was developed based on an analysis and comparison of six curricula: American, British, French, Finnish, Polish and the international IB Programme. The International Trilingual School of Warsaw with its 10 years of experience, offers a top-notch education, native language teachers, and a multicultural community.

Bilingualism and multilingualism, as many studies unequivocally show, have an extremely positive effect on the brain's development, cognitive abilities, and intellectual functioning, including the aging process. In the nurseries, kindergartens, and primary schools of the International Trilingual School of Warsaw, which has also recently opened a campus in Kraków, trilingual children are trained in various configurations of English, Polish, French, Spanish, and Chinese.

Central to your child's school experience is the underlying curriculum taught in the classroom. "Curriculum" refers to both what is taught and how it's taught. When considering the different curricula outlined in the next few pages, keep in mind that few schools fall neatly into one category or another. Most schools' curricula comprise a blend of best practices drawn from multiple curriculum types. Having said that, most schools do have a general overall curriculum type. Primary Curriculum: ProgressiveProgressive (sometimes called "inquiry based" or "discovery based") curricula use students' interests and their natural curiosity as the driver for instruction. Teachers provide materials, experiences, tools and resources necessary for students to investigate a topic or issue. Students are then encouraged to explore, reflect on their findings, and discuss answers, solutions, and insights.

Formal adjustments are made to the delivery of lessons to help mitigate the learning difficulty or exceptionality. The underlying content and expectations remain unchanged with accommodations, however. ITSW stands on a foundation of valued principles to academically meet the needs of every child that we serve. Our vision is based on Content Language Integrated Learning in which students successfully master the language fluency, writing skills, and knowledge acquisition of Polish, English, French, Chinese, and Spanish within our learning environment.
Our school environment is unique! We have a solid reputation of successful academic performance, and our high expectations and standards are represented in the outcomes of the achievement levels of our students.
