Highlights from the interview
I needed somewhere more secure for me, for the children, to find a good school for them. I saw Lynn Rose's website and I went through it. I really liked the images, the website, and how it was done. I said, Okay, it's not very far from where we're going. I decided to visit the school. We really appreciated the way we were received.
The way they communicate with parents, if anything’s happening, whether it's challenging or good stuff, they know how to handle it. There's transparency with parents in communication. I strongly recommend you to go there because I've been happy with the school for four years.
The way they really handled the pandemic, I was really impressed by the organization. It was not easy, but that really impressed me. But what surprised me, they really helped him to adapt to the environment. It's like a family. Again, that was really great with my son. I was surprised by the way they helped us to handle that situation. That really surprised me positively. Personally, I'm someone who is really stressed out about communication.
Anything going around, I want to be informed because the children spend more time at school than at home. The communication method is really good for me. This team spirit with parents following up on the children's challenges or progress, this is really good for me. The relationship we have to follow up on specific subjects on children's education is really good value for me. You're working in a team and this is good for me.
My first son was happy to be on the basketball team. He was leading, and they gave him a lot of responsibility to follow up some other kids from grade 10. Sometimes he used to work with, as we call it, the teacher in charge of sports, and he really appreciated it. Sometimes he misses school. It's good.
Christina is proud to have the opportunity to express all her creative mindset. That relationship with the teacher allowed her to express more. She's proud of being part of the school now, the Lynn-Rose family. Every year, too, they're working hard. They're happy to be among the best.
They're really proud to maintain their grades at school. I think it's a good experience. I really like sometimes when children are going through some tough moments, they take care of that and we discuss, and the relationship is really good. That's the communication, the relationship. If there is any problem, we talk about that and we move forward.
Lynn-Rose is like a family, a second family to me. The safety, the communication, and what do you call it? The IB program, too, is really good for us. Any family moving a lot is better to have this program for children. I feel secure sending my children there. My husband and I, I think we both agree on that.
I strongly recommend you to go there. I've been happy with the school for four years. We are happy.
