Charity Week!
The week of February 8-12, GAA Student Council held a Charity Week series of events to promote the spirit of giving and generosity just in time for Valentine's Day. Highlights included a Bake Sale with proceeds donated to Me to We, Crazy Hair and Crazy Hat Day, Candy Guesses, Valentine's Face Painting, school wide skate, red/pink/white day and Rafiki bracelets orders to support the Kenyan Mamas. Students were excited to support such good causes while enjoying themselves throughout this exciting week at school. Student council members presented at daily openings to remind students of their important contributions to this valued charity organization and the people it supports worldwide!
The GAA community showed their support by participating in these exciting school wide events and activities for a great cause!
A special thank you to the Highlander Choir for singing Stupid Cupid during morning assembly and to the Pasma family for donating hot chocolate!
