Oratorical Competition
Last week, the Glenn Arbour community had the opportunity to listen to the top two finalists from each grade present their speeches about. What the best day of their life has been or What the best day of their life would be. Judges for the day included Meredith Squires, Tony Corrie and Anthony Cheam, who marked the students based on the presentation of their speech and asked the contestants questions based on their speech once they had finished. Many of the speeches were very motivational and some even included a great deal of humour.
Each class came to listen and cheered on their classmates with a great level of excitement and enthusiasm. All students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 did outstanding performances and were an excellent example of the work Glenn Arbour students produce.
Congratulations to EF, the winner from the primary division with honourable mention to FJ. The winner from the junior division was AC with honourable mention to KC. The winner for the senior division was BP with hnourable mention going to CD.
Well done to all students for preparing and presenting excellent speeches!
