Pink Shirt Day!
On Wednesday February 24th, GAA students wore pink to support Pink Shirt Day and anti-bullying initiatives in the school community. Students engaged in class presentations and spread anti-bullying messages and awareness on our school mural.
Motivational Speaker, Life Coach and Author Anthony Cheam delivered a dynamic and inspiring school wide presentation on positivity, compassion and acceptance. Anthony inspired students to focus on love, acceptance and world peace through his thought provoking messages about self improvement and self discovery. His dynamic speaking style and energizing activities got students moving, thinking and dreaming about how they can contribute to a better world. Anthony was thrilled to get to know our students better and will be retuning as a judge for our Oratorical competition in April.
