Soles 4 Souls

Following the success of our spring shoe drive, where we collected 130 pairs of shoes, we are excited to host another shoe drive beginning September until the end of the school year in June. We are kindly asking our GAA students and families to please once again help us make a difference in the lives of many children and families around the world. Please drop off any gently used shoes you may have throughout the year in our school’s drop box. Collected shoes which will be then be distributed to orphanages, villages, homeless shelters and inner city hospitals in many countries around the world, by the organization Soles4Souls. These shoes will:
 -help promote health and fitness in children and families who do not own any footwear
 -allow children access to schools
 -keep discarded shoes out of landfills

Any shoes (running shoes, flat shoes, sandals) in any sizes (children and adult) will be accepted. Through your generous donations, we have collected over 200 pairs of shoes during the month of September. As of April, we have collected nearly 1000 pairs of shoes to donate to those in need worldwide! Outstanding generosity Highlanders, keep it up!
