Student Council

Glenn Arbour Academy's student council is involved in the We Scare Hunger Thanksgiving Food Drive, in order to collect non-perishable food items for those in need in our community. They will be visiting the Salvation Army on Friday October 7th to help sort and stock food shelves in preparation for the Thanksgiving holiday. Students are sharing food and hunger facts in Canada and within our communities to help raise awareness about this important cause.

H2 Crew

The new student representatives were introduced on Monday October 3rd for our H2 Crew - Darcy and Ben. They wore their new H2 Crew rep t-shirts and shared their application and visions for the crew. The boys also discussed the first weekly challenge - for students to collect all 5 beads! Darcy and Ben will be recognizing outstanding leadership in their peers on a weekly basis. They will help contribute to the school and learning community by promoting positivity and leadership.

Drum Line Blog

The drummers have started to make some noise! Practicing important rudiments and techniques were the focal points in the first couple practices.  Each drummer worked hard to stay on tempo, learn parts and play as a group. Keep your ears open for the drums! 

Green Team

The Glenn Arbour Academy Green Team has received it's very own Green Team Cart! This cart will help learners and teachers connect to their enviornment in ways that connect with curriuclum and meaningful learning. The green team is helping to promote enviornmental awareness and leadership in all areas of the school.
