I am beyond grateful that our journey led us to Rise Academy. This school has gone far beyond my hopes and expectations. What sets Rise Academy apart is its approach to education; it’s not about rigid rules, memorization, or treating students like they’re all the same. It’s about real learning, growth, and community. The focus here is on the whole child, on discovering each student’s strengths, interests, and unique personality, and then shaping an educational experience around that. It’s not robotic. It’s not cookie-cutter. It’s thoughtful, individualized, and truly student-centered. My children have thrived at Rise, not just academically, but personally. Their confidence has grown, their curiosity has deepened, and they are more themselves than ever. This school has helped bring out the best in them, and as a parent, there’s nothing more beautiful than watching your children flourish in an environment that sees and supports them for who they truly are. Another incredible aspect of Rise Academy is its flexibility. As a family with high-performance athletes, maintaining a traditional school schedule alongside demanding training and travel wasn’t always feasible. Rise allowed us to choose a model that works with the public school system, providing personalized support and structure without the cost of a full private school. That flexibility, combined with the outstanding quality of education and care, was a game-changer for our family. It’s not just the small class sizes or the personalized attention, it’s the quality of everything: the incredible teachers, the inspiring leadership, and the mission that guides it all. The principal and staff genuinely care, and that care shows in every aspect of the school culture. Sending my kids to Rise Academy has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It has been a true gift to them, and I’m so, so thankful for what this school has brought into our lives.

What stands out to me about the broader community at RISE Academy is how the focus truly stays on the students, which took an incredible amount of pressure off me as a parent. I no longer felt the constant need to check in or stay on top of every detail, and that alone eased so much of the frustration that came from having to do extra work at home. The school is designed to help students take ownership of their learning while giving parents the space to observe and enjoy the journey. There is absolutely room for parents to be involved if they choose to be, but it is not expected or required in a way that feels overwhelming. It creates a healthy, respectful balance between school life and home life, where students grow in independence and parents can feel confident and proud watching that happen.

What stands out most about the RISE Academy community is that it truly has no borders. Because the program is virtual, our family has had the freedom to travel, to competitions, on vacation, or anywhere in the world, without disrupting learning. The flexibility is incredible. But it goes beyond just access. RISE has built meaningful partnerships giving students the opportunity to connect with people, places, and projects far outside their immediate surroundings. Whether it’s visiting community gardens, participating in retreats, or collaborating with others across the globe, students are encouraged to explore and engage with the world around them. The school is the opposite of an island, it’s a gateway.

You feel supported not just academically but in building a vision for your future that is uniquely your own.
