(5) Student Experience

I absolutely love it at R.I.S.E. Academy! Working with my teachers, Abbey and Jess, has been such a positive experience. I honestly had a good understanding of what to expect when I first arrived, but it turned out to be even better than I imagined. I really feel like I’m encouraged and supported every step of the way. The flexibility of the school allows me to take my time with assignments, and I can work at my own pace, which has really helped me focus on what I need. I really appreciate how the staff here understands that everyone has their own learning style and needs. There’s not a single thing I’d change about the school. I’m really happy here and feel like I’m getting the most out of my time. One thing I wish I’d known before arriving is just how much I’d be able to grow and learn, not only academically but also personally. It’s a space where I feel comfortable, and I’m glad I chose R.I.S.E. Academy.

(5) School Leadership

I think Rebecca is a great leader. She’s always looking for new opportunities for us, and that makes me feel like we’re constantly growing. She encourages us to push ourselves and is always open to feedback, which helps create an environment where we feel heard. The teachers are amazing too, they’re always ready to support us in any way they can, whether it's with schoolwork or personal challenges. I honestly feel really supported by everyone here! I am grateful for the teachers.

(5) Teaching

I think the teachers ask just the right amount from me. Even when I don’t fully understand something, my teachers, like Abbey and Jess, always go out of their way to explain things in a way that makes sense to me. They take the time to ensure that I don’t just memorize things but actually understand the concepts. I know they want the best for me, and their support is so genuine. When they talk about success, I think they imagine it as me truly understanding the material and growing as a person. It’s not just about grades; it’s about real learning and personal progress. The way they encourage me to think critically and make connections in the material has really helped me feel more confident in my abilities. I really appreciate that about them and feel like they care about my growth, both academically and personally.

(5) Academics

I think what I’m learning is perfect for me. It’s not too easy or too hard, it’s just the right level. I believe it will definitely be useful later in life because I’m learning skills that will help me become a good businessperson. Whether I decide to open my own bakery or explore a career as a voice actor, the knowledge I’m gaining now will be extremely valuable. I’m especially focused on learning how to use my voice and communicate well, which is crucial for voice acting. Even in business, being able to communicate effectively with customers and clients will make a huge difference. I feel like these lessons are shaping the foundation for whatever path I choose, and I’m excited about how they’ll support my future goals.

(5) School Life

I’d start by introducing the staff, highlighting how accessible and supportive they are. I believe it’s important for new students to know that they can always count on the staff for help, whether it’s for academic guidance or personal support. By sharing the positive experiences of students, I’d emphasize the welcoming environment and the dedication that teachers, like Abbey and Jess, show to each individual’s growth. I'd also include digital materials that explain the online learning platform, giving students a clear understanding of how to navigate and use it effectively. Sharing student stories would show how the flexibility of the learning environment has helped them succeed. This approach would give newcomers a sense of what to expect and encourage them to fully embrace the opportunities at R.I.S.E. Academy.

(5) Admissions

I didn’t have a hands-on role in the admissions process, as my mom found the school for me, and I started shortly after. From my perspective, the process was easy and straightforward. Everything seemed to flow smoothly, and I didn’t feel stressed or overwhelmed. I appreciated that the school was welcoming from the start, and the transition felt natural. It was reassuring to know that my mom was involved in finding a place that would be a good fit for me, and I felt comfortable with how things progressed without any confusion.
