Two campuses, an AP offering, Round Square and an extensive roster of co-curriculars, Collingwood frankly has it all. It’s the largest day school in the region, and likely the country, and it benefits from its size through unequalled physical and human resources and a broad, varied course offering. That the campus is divided between two properties adds a welcome dimension—while student life is vibrant and busy, the division allows for a personal feel and sense of community in the day-to-day. Through the Four Strands program the school rightly requires students to participate in all areas of student life, including athletics, with recreational as well as competitive options. Perched in beautiful West Vancouver, the bussing system is proprietary, with routes servicing a wide catchment area, including North Shore from Deep Cove and into South Vancouver. In all, if there's a down side, we've yet to find it. The ideal student is one who will thrive in a vibrant, supportive instructional and social environment, and preparing for post-secondary education.

12. How will your school change in the next 5 years?
Gr. 8 to Gr. 12 — Looking back on my overall experience at Collingwood I am more than grateful. For me, it was life-changing and it did prepare me for my future endeavours. Collingwood High School is one of the largest day schools in Canada, which offers a wide range of academic programs including the prestigious AP (Advanced Placement) program. My advice to prospective students would possibly to be embrace the new environment. With such a large student body, the school is able to provide a diverse and enriching learning environment, where students can grow and develop both academically and socially. It does not matter if the student is gifted academically or talented in other categories, they are all catered for as Collingwood Four Strand education balances: Academics, Arts, Athletics and Service. With the right support and resources, I believe any student can overcome presented challenges and succeed at Collingwood.
Gr. 8 to Gr. 12 — My experience at Collingwood School was quite amazing, no lie! I really felt that Collingwood was committed to making students feel empowered with their own capabilities and strengths. No doubt, Collingwood is one of Canada's largest JK-Grade 12, university-preparatory day schools. Therefore, they emphasize the importance of community and prioritize students' well-being and growth. Collingwood really did prepare me for my life's next steps. Besides that everyone was coming from their own homes every day. We became a community once on that campus. Collingwood has 2 Campuses but it did not separate us but instead it made it even more welcoming. One would look forward to school activities and I for one can not do away with the big school night memories such as case competitions, homecoming games, prom and pep rallies.
