Dear Students and Parents,
Lowell High School is an IB World School located in the heart of beautiful Yaletown in downtown Vancouver. We are a member of the large and well-established group of CBCIS international schools and are proud of our reputation for promoting academic excellence and a well-balanced, holistic approach to learning.
It is an honour to be a member of the International Baccalaureate world community and to offer the Diploma Programme to students from Grade 11 to 12. What sets our school apart is our focus on addressing and supporting individual student needs. We hire highly qualified, certified BC teachers who are trained and experienced in the IB curriculum. We keep our class sizes small to increase student and teacher contact time, and individualize the support provided to each student. The school has a team of advisors who routinely communicate with individual students, track progress, and help promote academic and personal success.
Our school is dedicated to providing opportunities to help each student achieve their learning goals. Students at the school have regular opportunities to develop leadership skills and take part in a variety of clubs and volunteering experiences. We aim to graduate students who strive to improve themselves, their community, and the world around them. We do so by nurturing each student’s capacity to be engaged, innovative and compassionate. We have been successful in this endeavour, and our students are routinely accepted into world-renowned universities.
It is a great privilege to welcome you to our school. I encourage you to find out more about our programme through our website, by contacting us via phone or email, or by visiting us and taking a tour of our campus. We would be happy to tell you more about our school.
