Banbury Crossroads School Celebrates 40th Anniversary

Banbury Crossroads School’s 40^th Anniversary Gala will be held at the Valley Ridge Golf Club, 11618 Valley Ridge Park NW, from 5 o’clock until midnight, on Friday, May 28^th, 2021.  

This is a momentous occasion, and one of which I am extremely proud. For 40 years, Banbury has offered its self-directed approach to education, and that is a very long time! Banbury is the second oldest private school in Calgary – and one of the most progressive in its philosophy and practices. 

Over the years, Banbury has grown from 2 students to around 65 per year and from 2 teachers to 15. Hundreds of students have passed through our doors, and we feel honored that we have contributed significantly to each one’s life journey. How many memories we have fostered! And one other thing is true: the unique spirit of Banbury creates academic engagement, meaningful social connection and genuine joy year after year, whoever the students or the teachers may be.

I am so very, very thankful for Banbury – for my life’s passion and legacy – and I am looking forward to celebrating this exciting event with you! It would be great seeing you there.
