Fairview Glen Montessori's chess teams competed in an invitational tournament with success and admirable sportsmanship. Students commited to the Chess Club to begin preparation early in the school year, coached by Mr. Sage and Ms. Volpe. After a day of intense competition the Junior girls won the gold medal and the juinor boys and novice teams both won silver. Congratulations to the chess team and coaches for their strong finish to a season of dedication and excellence. We look forward to next year's season.
Chess is just one of many clubs offered at Fairview Glen Montessori School. In addition, the school offers an Art Club, Coding Club, Basketball Club, Silverbirch Reading Club, Soccer Club, and Yoga Club. Further to this students compose editorials to be posted on the classroom websites and take part regularily in the Intramural House League Program.
