Junior School Closing Ceremony 2018 Wraps Up a Great Year

On Tuesday, June 12, the Junior School community celebrated the end of the 2017-18 school at the Closing Ceremony, held in the Brenda Robson Hall. The ceremony featured readings and speeches from students and staff as well as special musical performances from our 4M and 4C Instrumental Music classes, Grade 1 to 3s (who sang “We’re Going to Be Friends”), our Co-Curricular Steel Pan Ensemble and the entire Junior School who sang the classic “One More Step” and “This is Me” from the movie The Greatest Showman.

Other highlights of the ceremony included the 2018 Junior School House Banner awarded to Kate Leonard House, Grade 5 students gave a tribute to the departing Grade 6s and students read excerpts from the book Dear Girl. Following the ceremony, guests were invited to the Junior School for cookies and refreshments. Congrats to all of our Junior School students on a fantastic year!
