(5) Student Experience
I recently completed the MAP4C-02 math course with Ontario Virtual School and had an excellent experience. I’m very happy with my results, especially earning a final mark of 94%! I chose OVS because I needed this course for my Practical Nursing admission, and their flexible learning format allowed me to study at my own pace while managing other responsibilities. The teacher was responsive, provided clear feedback, and marked evaluations quickly. The practice tests and review materials were very helpful, and the exam system is flexible—you can take the test whenever you feel prepared. The support team was also very helpful throughout the process. I highly recommend OVS to anyone looking to upgrade or complete a course for college or university. It’s convenient, reliable, and designed to help students succeed.
(5) School Leadership
Yes, I do respect school leaders such as the headmaster, guidance counsellors, and teachers. I believe they play an important role in supporting students' education and personal development. Many of them work hard to create a safe and positive learning environment, and they are always willing to help when students need support. I especially appreciate when they take the time to listen and offer guidance. What I think they do well is provide structure, encourage students to grow, and help us stay on track with our goals.
(5) Teaching
I think they are fair and want us to do our best. When they talk about success, I believe they mean not just getting good grades, but also growing as confident, responsible individuals.
(5) Academics
I find the work to be just right—challenging enough to keep me engaged, but not overwhelming. What I’m learning will definitely help in the future because it builds important skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and clear communication—all of which are useful in both daily life and future careers.
(5) School Life
Since I was enrolled in an online class, I did not attend a physical school, so I wouldn’t be able to give an in-person tour.
(5) Admissions
I would advise anyone applying to stay organized and start early to avoid last-minute stress. From my own experience, it felt somewhere between stressful and exciting—I was hopeful but also nervous about getting everything right. Now I know how important it is to double-check requirements and not hesitate to reach out for help when unsure. As it was online for me, the admissions process was straightforward but required careful attention to detail, especially with submitting documents and meeting deadlines.
