Gr. 11 (current) — At Royal Crown School, I think that the teachers are very serious about teaching and I have always been able to solve anything that I do not understand in class. My guidance counselor, Ms. Gloria, is very responsible for me and she guides me in my course selection and college applications. I talk to her when I have questions. My math and computer teacher Ms. Yankulova, was always available to answer all my questions, and if I had a question about a lesson, I would talk to her after class and she would give me an answer, so I got excellent grades in her classes. Also, there are a lot of events at school such as Halloween, proms, university lectures and tours. I think for students, Royal Crown School is a good choice.

Gr. 12 — Our child has had a wonderful journey at Royal Crown School. One of the things they appreciate the most is the supportive and dedicated teaching staff. The teachers at Royal Crown School are not only knowledgeable but also caring, which has helped our child feel comfortable and motivated to learn. Our child also enjoys the wide range of extracurricular activities available at the school. From sports to arts and clubs, Royal Crown School offers a diverse set of opportunities for students to explore their interests and passions. This has allowed our child to develop skills and friendships beyond the classroom. Overall, Royal Crown School has provided our child with a nurturing and stimulating environment for learning and personal growth. We're grateful for the positive experiences they've had and the opportunities to excel academically and socially.

Gr. 12 — One of the most memorable aspects of my time at Royal Crown School was the commendable behaviour of the teachers. They consistently treated every student with fairness, respect, and kindness. This egalitarian approach not only made me feel valued but also fostered an environment of trust and mutual understanding. In terms of academic and personal development, the school's curriculum and activities proved to be a solid foundation for my future endeavors. I genuinely believe that the preparation I received at Royal Crown School equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge for the next chapter of my life. For any prospective student considering Royal Crown School, I have a piece of advice: embrace your independence and have clarity about what you hope to achieve during your time there. The school environment encourages students to be proactive and self-reliant. That said, always remember that the teachers are incredibly supportive. If you ever need guidance or assistance, they are more than willing to step in and help. Their dedication to student success is truly unparalleled.

Gr. 11 (current) — At first, I was scared to learn far away from my hometown, like in such a strange country with all the people I hadn't known before. I didn't know how to start my new life. However, students and teachers in Royal Crown are so sweet, and they will guide you on what to do; they will tell you what you should do step by step. They won't help you to do everything, but to develop students' independent thinking ability, just because this helping, it made me benefit from this for a long time till now. I realize I can deal with things by myself, and I know where I should start. I won't be anxious about any difficulties. I will always remember and appreciate this experience.

Gr. 10 (current) — Royal Crown is a great school when it comes to academics and athletics. The classes are small so you can get more help with work. They also offer a variety of extracurricular activities such as robotics and ping pong club. The athletics are one of the best in Canada they push you to be your best every day and you will enjoy the journey along the way. The school food is good too. They offer different food each day. From Italian to Mexican we get a variety of food every day which expands the students' horizons and exposes them to different cultures. The international part of the school helps build connections and friendships across all over the world. You can learn so much about the world from people who actually live there.

Gr. 10 (current) — Here's a bit more about Royal Crown School. I absolutely love it! The school feels like a second home to me. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, thanks to the diverse and energetic student body. The teachers and classmates are incredibly supportive, which makes the experience even better. If I could change one thing, I would add a coding club or a photography club. It would be fantastic to have more opportunities to explore my interests and connect with like-minded students. Overall, I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of such an amazing school community. It's a place that promotes inclusivity and appreciation and continuously strives to ensure that every student feels included and appreciated that is what I love about Royal Crown Academy. 🏫💙😊

Gr. 12 (current) — I absolutely love Royal Crown School! It's truly the best school in the world, and I'm so fortunate to be a part of it. The teachers are incredibly dedicated, and the guidance counselors are always there to support us. The sense of community here is fantastic, and I feel like I belong. If I could change one thing, I might wish for even more extracurricular activities. While we have a great selection, a few additional options would be wonderful, such as more days at chess club, a debate team, an art case study along with a math team. But overall, I wouldn't trade my experience at Royal Crown for anything else. It's a place where I'm growing academically and personally, and I couldn't be happier.

Student, Cairo Perry (2023)

Gr. 12 (current) — At Royal Crown School, my experience has been generally positive. I find the school environment stimulating, and I appreciate the effort put in by the teachers to make our classes engaging and educational. The camaraderie among students also adds to the overall positive atmosphere. Additionally, when it comes to extracurricular activities, particularly sports, having better coaching could elevate our performance levels. Quality coaching not only enhances our skills but also boosts our confidence and school spirit. It would be wonderful to see more emphasis on developing well-rounded athletes through effective coaching programs. In terms of the overall school structure, finding a balance between freedom and guidance is crucial. While some flexibility is essential for creativity and personal growth, a bit more structure in terms of academic planning and support systems would be valuable. In summary, while I do enjoy my time at Royal Crown School, addressing these areas could further enhance the overall student experience, creating a more supportive and enriching educational environment.

Gr. 10 (current) — I'm a student at Royal Crown School, and overall, I have a positive experience here. I particularly appreciate the supportive atmosphere and the dedication of our teachers. They go the extra mile to help us succeed. If I were to make a change, I'd like to see more available study spaces on campus. The library can get crowded, and having more study areas would make it easier for students to focus and work collaboratively. One thing I wish I had known before coming here is the significance of time management. The workload can be demanding, and understanding how to manage my time efficiently has been a valuable lesson. In terms of what I'd change about the school, I think a bit more flexibility in the class schedule could benefit students. Sometimes, having more options for course times or ways to personalize our academic journey would be helpful. Overall, though, I find Royal Crown School to be a welcoming and academically enriching place.

Gr. 12 (current) — Royal Crown is a solid school. Although I have only been at Crown for 2 months it has been a good experience so far. I appreciate the dedicated teachers and their commitment to helping us. If I could change one thing academically it would be switching to a non-quadmester system. Having one class for 10 weeks can be very annoying. The 2.5-hour classes feel very long and I feel that taking 2 1-hour and 15-minute classes would help me stay focused as well as learn more diverse things. Overall the one thing I would change would be the eating situation. Sometimes the repetition of chicken and rice can get annoying but I can’t complain. Nothing beats home-cooked food. Also having a student area for lounging would be greatly appreciated.

Gr. 11 (current) — Royal Crown Academic School is a great school, with a great basketball program and high-level academics. For the time I’ve been here I’ve had a good time. Royal Crown is a supportive environment with welcoming and loving students and teachers. If there’s one thing I wish I had known before coming here it’d be how heavy the school workload is. Managing the heavy school workload and the intense basketball schedule gets challenging at times. That was a challenge that I had to overcome in my first year here, but as time went on I got better at managing my time. If there was one thing I’d change about the school it’d be the food they give us students who are on meal plans.

Student, Bennett Cotton (2023)

(4.4)

Gr. 11 (current) — The school experience at Royal Crown is very good. Aside from the in-class experience, which is solid, there are a number of services that are offered to the students that enhance the school experience. These services include the buffet-style lunch, the C.A.S.E activities, and the sports offered by the school. The school has an elaborate basketball program that produces NCAA and NBA-level talent. The in-class experience is very good, the teachers are very devoted to teaching, and provide very good interaction with the students in terms of helping them with lessons and homework, and discussing the course material. The residence housing is pretty far from the school, and it takes a 25-minute drive to get here and there. All in all, RCAS is a pretty good school.

Student, Isaiah Spencer (2023)

Gr. 12 (current) — I'm a student at Royal Crown School, and I find it quite enjoyable. The teachers are incredibly supportive, and the curriculum, while challenging, is also very fulfilling. The school community is fantastic; I've formed strong friendships, and there's a wide range of interesting extracurricular activities to take part in. However, if I could make one change to the school, it would be to provide more study spaces for students. It can sometimes be a challenge to locate a quiet area for focused study, especially during exam periods. I believe that additional study areas would greatly benefit the student body. In retrospect, I wish I had been aware of the school's strong emphasis on group projects before I arrived. Although it's an excellent way to promote teamwork, better preparation for collaborative coursework would have been appreciated. Despite these minor concerns, I value the structure and the coaching offered by the school, which have played a crucial role in my educational journey at Royal Crown School. The genuine care and support from the teachers significantly enhance my overall experience here."

Gr. 11 (current) — I have enjoyed my time at Royal Crown. I have really liked the quad semester system and the teachers have been really helpful and even offered after-school help to students who have asked. The main thing I knew about RCA was basketball because that’s the reason I came. Since I am a student-athlete I have created a good schedule to balance school and basketball and have gotten a great routine to finish the school work I need to complete and then do what I love and train for basketball. As well, I have really enjoyed core. Ultimately, I have had a positive experience with not many negatives at all but the only thing I would improve would be the breakfast having more variety of healthy foods.

Gr. 9 (current) — I enjoy it for the most part. Your school experience at Royal Crown is absolutely fantastic! It's like being part of a royal court where education is a grand adventure. The teachers are knowledgeable and passionate, making learning exciting and engaging. The curriculum is diverse, offering a blend of academic excellence and royal traditions. From history lessons that transport you to different eras to cultural events that celebrate the richness of royal heritage, every day is filled with captivating experiences. The school community is supportive and inclusive, fostering friendships that feel like royal bonds. Plus, the extracurricular activities, like royal etiquette classes and historical reenactments, add an extra touch of enchantment to your education. So, embrace the royal crown experience and let your education reign supreme.

Gr. 8 (current) — In my personal opinion, Royal Crown informs the student well when it comes to work and learning new things. I also kind of love the school considering the fact that I’m a new student and still have more to learn. One thing that I wish I had known before I came to Royal Crown was how many semesters there were included in the curriculum. I also wish I knew how many classes I had considering the fact that doing eighth grade in high school is much more different than doing eighth grade in your average middle school. At Royal Crown, I have lots of fun with my friends when we have the chance. The teaching at Royal Crown can also be hard to learn at times, and I also think that we should have days when we cannot wear uniforms.

Student, Jean-Philippe Chartrand (2023)

(4)

Gr. 9 (current) — I enjoy attending Royal Crown School. It is a very structured and diverse school full of many people from across the world. One thing I wish I’d known before attending was the more intense and strict academics and rules of the school: there are 4 semesters each with 2 classes per semester and almost 2 tests each week or every other week. To go with the intense academics, there are strict attendance and uniform rules that give the students structure. If I could change one thing within Royal Crown it would be more say on the lunch provided to the students because you only get 3 meals a day and I would like to have each of them be both healthy and something the students want.

Student, Favour Nkemka (2023)

(4.2)

Gr. 9 (current) — I greatly enjoy going to Royal Crown. I love being here, the environment, the people, the basketball programs all make it worthwhile. If there was anything I could change about the school, it would be to have longer breaks and the food selection. Not saying there’s anything wrong with the school food but some days the food isn’t the best, also I think we should have longer breaks because they feel way too short and we need to recollect mentally and physically. One thing I wish I would’ve known before coming here was that we couldn’t wear any hoodies or headwear and etc. Along with that I didn’t know we had to wear blazers every Monday and that we don’t really get to dress out of our uniforms during school. One thing I would change is the headwear and hoodies.

Student, Ziqi Liu (2023)

Gr. 11 (current) — Royal Crown School is a beautiful place with high-quality constructions, teaching systems, and meals. I have to admit that I really enjoyed my time there since the school gave me a feeling of acceptance and being included. The school has its own swimming pool, basketball area, and many other exciting constructions waiting for you to explore. The teachers and staff of the school are kind and patient. Team members care about the students, help them to overcome difficulties, and achieve students learning goals in the end. When you have some questions, do not hesitate to ask cause you are always welcome. Worried about what you're gonna have for lunchtime? School also has a wonderful cooking team, which means you could grab your fancy lunch at school. The cooking team would always give you surprises since you could get so many different kinds of delicious food here.
