Gr. 9 to Gr. 12 — I spent my whole high school life in Westfield Secondary School and I would be always thankful for how down to earth the staff are as I am an international student and they constantly helped me out no matter what. I liked the third floor of our building the most, especially when it is sunny, I loved to stare at the sky with the windows. I believe all students feel peaceful when they see that view. One thing I would change would be just the curtains in the computer lab. We loved the sun but sometimes, it’s just too bright, it’s cute that when I met my other old high school friends, they were also mentioning that. I think the guidance counsellors were doing their best jobs when they were helping me to plan my uni path to ease my anxiousness as it is a very tough choice but I’m happy with how they prepared for me. I would say, they would be feeling home once they have joined Westfield. As I was having the same feeling, even though I have graduated for 2 years, I still go back to the campus almost every month as they are like my family members when I’m away from my biological family.

Gr. 9 (current),Gr. 11 to Gr. 12 — Physical activities/sports/recreation are exceptional in this school. Students have access to the gym and lined up activities for them each day for active living. Teachers are always looking out for students' safety and well-being to assist in any way possible with learning. My child is usually followed up in school for any kind of difficulty that might be arising in his studies with a great amount of attention to detail in what the student needs to know in their line of study. I realized that the school has a special skill in encouraging active participation of students in the day-to-day class activities, through interactive learning, games and more. So I realize that the school has small classrooms, convenient for learning. The teacher can observe the students better and give them individualized attention to help them study better.
