This program is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Creativity: Interest and pleasure in exploring creative potential. Tendency to see novel solutions to problems.
  • Resilience: Ability to handle setbacks and adversity—to maintain an optimistic, proactive orientation when under duress. Willingness to take on challenges.

In the classic workshop, students will gain advanced training in the fundamentals of the English writing process.

Taught by award-winning scholars with comedic wit and excellent teaching skills, students will become proficient well beyond the five-paragraph essay, mastering the narrative, comparative, argumentative and research essays.

Throughout the workshops, students will:

  • •Review the fundamentals of English grammar, the writing process, structure of the five-paragraph essay.
  • •Progressive practice of complex issues, cases, and problems in grammars, different genres of essays for different purposes
  • •Improve grammar skills, while learning how to write complex, well-researched, and effective high-school essays.
