Mini-Yo-We is a christian Camp committed to developing tomorrow's leaders through life-changing adventures in God's creation. Our camp community is based on small cabin groups and offers programs for children and youth ages 5-16 every week of the summer! Camp Mini-Yo-We offers a unique camp experience, innovative programs, dedicated staff and a safe place for campers to stretch and grow physically, socially, mentally and spiritually. Our unique combination of outstanding programs, fantastic facilities, experienced staff, and opportunities for personal and skill development, has been bringing campers back year after year since 1946. Camp Mini-Yo-We is known as Ontario's premier Christian summer camp and year-round retreat centre committed to one big idea - developing tomorrow's leaders. We are set apart by six distincitves:
1. Our Families // We offer programs for boys and girls ages 5-16 all 8 weeks of the summer so that families can experience Camp together.
2. Our Heritage // We began in 1946 and have a 80 year track record of offering outstanding camp experiences for children & youth!
3. Our Leaders // Our summer staff are some of the best trained in Ontario with one more week of training than the average camp.
4. Our Facilities // Our property in Muskoka boats forest trails, a private island, natural rock wall and over a kilometer of waterfront.

The Our Kids review of Camp Mini-Yo-We
Many families turn to Mini-Yo-We because of the values it expresses, and rightly so. It’s adept at providing those values. That said, the staff is adept at many other things, with vibrancy prime among them—the goal is to light a fire within the campers, getting them engaged quickly and then building from there, something they make look far easier than it is. There is also a great attention to detail, with the programs and facilities sparkling throughout. All is exceptionally well managed, maintained, and promoted, through the summer and all year long. The breadth of programming allows for campers to develop seamlessly from their first overnight experience, to moving into leadership and mentoring roles. Spaces regularly sell out, which is as good a recommendation of the program as you can get. And Rich. He’s the executive director, and is a good recommendation, too. If you haven’t already, friend him on Facebook. You’ll be glad you did.

We have a fantastic team year-round staff who work tirelessly to ensure a safe and exciting experience for each camper that comes through our gate. Our mission is to "develop tomorrow's leaders" and our summer staff are the best in the business! We invest heavily in staff training providing one more week of training than the average camp.

More details about property: Camp Mini-Yo-We is situated on 270 acres of prime Muskoka property. We have 1.3 km of sandy waterfront and rocky shoreline on beautiful Mary Lake. The property includes a natural rock wall, a private island, and 9 km of private biking and hiking trails. Our facilities were established in 1946 and have been providing excellence camp experiences ever since.

At our Boys, Girls, and Youth camps, traditional tabins give older campers a unique outdoor experience. Washrooms and show facilities are available nearby for each section.Are meals provided? Yes.
Is Camp Mini-Yo-We technology free? Yes. To ensure the best experience possible we do not permit campers to bring cameras, MP3 players, iPods, laptops or other electronics. We DO permit cameras! This helps campers remain focused on building friendship, creating new outdoor experiences and having fun!
