Located on the shores of the Georgian Bay, Camp Simpresca offers 4-day, week long, & monthly programs for boys & girls ages 6-16. Since 1949, many young campers have come to share the joys of camping & the memories it brings.Campers experience a daily rotation of activities, such as highropes & boating! We offer a traditional camp experience, full of campfires, songs, & smiles.

Our mission is, "to provide a safe and healthy camping experience promoting friendship, fun, camping skills and self-awareness, while all members of the Simpresca community challenge themselves physically, intellectually, spiritually and socially." Our beautiful and private property helps build a unique and welcoming community that brings people back year after year. For the campers who age into our leadership program, they are fully embedded into the Simpresca community by receiving their "camp name" on our off-site wilderness trip.

Meet the Staff
Staff and Counsellors
Every summer, we have approximately 30 staff members to care for all of our campers. Every week, a program and cabin counsellor team up to look after the campers in their assigned cabin. Our senior staff support with the daily operations of Simpresca, while our kitchen staff makes sure everyone gets 3 hearty meals a day + snacks. All of our staff are required to be trained in first aid, and additional care is given by our volunteer nurse.

More details about property: Camp Simpresca is a 90 acre waterfront and forest property. We have a large beach, forest trails, camping sites, a highropes course, a large field, and multiple cabins and warehouses for indoor programming.

More details about accommodations: Camp Simpresca offers rustic cabins for campers to sleep in. We have a washroom facility equipped with showers and a dining hall for meals.
Are meals provided? Yes. 3 meals a day, dessert, and an evening snack. Fruit is available at all times throughout the day.
Is Camp Simpresca technology free? Yes. Camp Simpresca is not responsible for lost or stolen valuables, therefore we do not encourage bring electronics such as phones and cameras.

Available for private rentals: Yes
Camp Simpresca offers weekend and week-day group use rates May through June and September.
