Camp STEAM: Minecraft Masterminds Theme, August 11-15

During Camp STEAM's Minecraft: Masterminds themed weeks, projects will focus on developing building skills. How can we program our robots to turn them into builders? Can we use Minecraft as a simulator to build and then test our theories with robots? Need a part for that build? Let’s design it and print it out. Minecraft Builder week activities are completely separate from Minecraft: Designer week activities, and are designed to fuel the Minecraft fire in your child even more!

Why Camp Steam Canada?

At school, how often do kids get to just sit and think? To invent? To create? To dream, and to discover what moves them and drives them?

At Camp STEAM Canada, campers have fun at our day camp while learning with activities in science, technology, engineering, the arts and math, but we’re about so much more than that!

Campers learn lifelong skills about ways to approach problems and create solutions by exploring different approaches from all STEAM areas to a particular activity or task. Instead of doing something how they were told, they have an opportunity to explore how THEY think it should (it could!) be done. Read more here. 

Through fun activities, Camp STEAM campers will explore new:

Mindsets:  Explore different problem solving perspectives from each STEAM area.
Skillsets:  Learn practical skills in areas like coding, animation, design and more.
Toolsets: Have fun with robotics, 3D printers, and try other physical and digital tools.

2025 Summer Camp Themes

Every week of Camp STEAM features fun and educational projects, wrapped in that week’s theme. There are 4 themes with unique programming that each run twice throughout the summer. If campers join us for multiple weeks, or progress through projects more quickly, we have challenges and projects that continue to build from wherever they are, ensuring no matter what level a camper is at, we meet them there to start their journey!  Our 2025 summer camp themes and dates are:

LEGO: Architects | July 7-11 & August 5-8
Minecraft: Masterminds | July 14-18 & August 11-15
LEGO: Builders | July 21-25 & Aug 18-22
