Astronaut Training Camp: What It Takes to Live in Space!

What Makes Our Program Special?

This isn't just a space-themed camp—it’s a hands-on astronaut experience! Kids will explore the science, technology, and physical challenges of space travel through STEM, history, science, and PE activities. They'll engage in critical thinking challenges that prepare them to solve real-world space problems just like astronauts do!

What Will Kids Do & Experience?

  • History to Future - Kids will look at the history of space travel and consider what they would need to understand in order to make a stand on space travel and tourism.
  • Build & Launch – Design spacecraft models, test rocket propulsion.
  • Astronaut Training – Try physical and balance challenges to prepare for space missions.
  • STEM Challenges  – Solve engineering puzzles, design cardboard robot arms and design space habitats.
  • Team Missions – Work together to complete problem-solving challenges.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?

Each camp session is packed with interactive activities, experiments, teamwork, and exciting discussions. A typical day includes:
Mission Briefing – Learn about a space challenge for the day
Hands-On Experiment or STEM Build – Create, test, and problem-solve
Astronaut Training Activity – Physical and mental challenges inspired by real space prep
Debrief & Discovery – Reflect on findings, discuss results, and explore new possibilities

What Will Kids Take Away?

By the end of the program, kids will have developed problem-solving skills, teamwork, creativity, and a deeper understanding of space science. They’ll walk away with newfound confidence, Critical Thinking Skills, and the excitement to keep exploring!
