This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Tolerance: At Crime Scene Investigation camp, kids will work in teams, respecting different ideas and perspectives. They’ll learn to listen, share thoughts, and consider opposing viewpoints to solve cases together. This fosters tolerance by encouraging collaboration, open-mindedness, and problem-solving.
  • Curiosity: In our Crime Scene Investigation camp, curiosity takes the lead! Kids will ask big questions, test ideas, and experiment with evidence. They’ll observe clues, analyze substances, and explore possible outcomes, sparking their natural curiosity to discover answers and uncover mysteries as they go!

What Makes This Program Special?

This isn’t just a mystery—it’s a hands-on detective experience! Kids will step into the role of crime scene investigators, using science, logic, and critical thinking to analyze clues, examine evidence, and solve exciting cases. Through engaging activities, they’ll learn how real investigators use forensic science, deductive reasoning, and problem-solving skills to crack cases!

What Will Kids Do & Experience?

The kids will decide their own plan but ideas may include:

Analyze Fingerprints & Footprints – Learn how forensic experts use them to identify suspects.
Test Mystery Substances – Use chemistry to analyze powders, liquids, and fibers.
Decipher Secret Codes – Solve puzzles and hidden messages like a real investigator.
Piece Together the Evidence – Think critically to connect clues and solve the case.
Build Teamwork & Logic Skills – Work together to analyze suspects and find the culprit!

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?

CSI introduction – Introduce the mystery and learn investigation techniques.
Hands-On Forensic Activities – Conduct fingerprint analysis, chemical tests, and crime scene mapping.
Team Investigations – Work together to connect clues and eliminate suspects.
Case Solving & Debrief – Present findings, discuss conclusions, and reveal the mystery!
