This workshop is designed to inspire creativity and problem-solving skills in kids ages 6-11. What makes it unique is that children are not just building for fun—they're challenged to invent something brand new, improve an existing idea, or solve real-world problems using a wide variety of materials. It's a hands-on, interactive experience that pushes kids to think outside the box and turn their ideas into reality.
✅ Introduction to the Challenge – Discuss what problems we can solve or an invention we can create.
✅ Idea Brainstorming – Kids will brainstorm, sketch, and plan their designs.
✅ Hands-On Building – Using materials provided, children will start constructing their inventions or improvements.
✅ Experimentation & Testing – They’ll test their creations to see how they work, adjust and improve.
✅ Reflection & Sharing – At the end of the day, kids will present their inventions and share their process and results with the group.
By the end of the program, kids will have developed critical thinking skills, gained confidence in their ability to create, and learned how to approach challenges with a hands-on, experimental mindset. They’ll leave with a sense of accomplishment, new ideas, and the excitement to continue inventing!
