Find a Camp
With our specialty horsemanship camps, it is all about time with the horses. Campers will ride twice a day and spend additional time in the barn learning all about horse care. In the Beginner Horsemanship Camp, riders will learn horse safety and how to care for their horse as a rider. They will learn to mount and dismount. Riders will learn to start, stop and steer their horse at a walk. Once the rider has a good understanding and control at a walk, they will be introduced to jogging on their horse. As their skills develop over the week they will learn proper balance and control at a jog.
Campers will also have the opportunity to try a variety of other camp activities, including rock wall, archery, canoeing, go karts, and more!
