Medics Camp Forensic Medicine Theme Ages 7-8

Medics will journey into a different area of medicine where doctors and scientists specialize in identifying and analyzing microscopic clues to help solve crimes. Think of them as doctor detectives!

They will hone their observational skills and attention to detail, developing a keen eye for evidence and a methodical approach to investigation. They will explore various forensic fields that aid in solving crimes, such as fingerprint analysis, DNA and genetics, footprints and tire tracks, handwriting analysis, blood typing, forensic entomology, odontology, forensic anthropology, toxicology, trace evidence, and forensic botany. Campers will experience the thrill of piecing together mysteries and gain a deeper understanding of science and law enforcement.

Throughout the week, Medics will be presented with team challenges where they will use their problem-solving skills and attention to detail to successfully complete each activity. At the end of the week, they use all of their skills to solve a non-violent crime. There may even be a few escape room type challenges!
