MARCH BREAK: Mixed Media Exploration: Drawing Anything and Everything, ages 13 - 14

This course introduces teens to various art mediums in a fun and engaging way. Each week, we'll explore a different media including collage, charcoal, soft pastels, acrylics, and watercolors. Students will learn techniques to draw and create virtually anything they can imagine, from still lives and landscapes to portraits and abstract concepts. We'll also discover how these mediums have been used throughout art history. For the final project, students will create a mixed-media piece demonstrating their ability to express their ideas in multiple mediums incorporating the skills they've learned friendly art pieces.
