Sustainable Design: Mixed Media, Ages 10 - 12, Sat, 1:30 - 4 pm

Focus on drawing and upcycled design
All young designers have a sense of design, an idea of how they can create using their own sense of style. This course will explore topics such as printing on fabric, sewing with scraps, combining colours, and inventing new ways to do things. The course is some drawing, some art, some design; and some imaginative inventing. We will do a combination of art experiences using beading, printing on fabric, figure drawing, and upcycled materials of all kind. We will do artworks that allow each child’s individual sense of style to shine through!
