Find a Camp
Using people as the subject matter, inspired by artists who have spent their careers exploring portraiture, this class gives students knowledge and practice exploring the human figure in art. Learn about, and put your personal spin on paintings, prints and sculpture inspired by Amedeo Modigliani, Jean Paul Lemieux, Frida Kahlo, Gustav Klimt and Pablo Picasso. Each project will build on previous consideration of composition, colour, pattern, and of course proportions and movement of the human body.
