Under Pressure: Drawing and Printmaking, Ages 11 - 12; Mon - Fri, 9 am - 4:30 pm

Artists gravitate towards printmaking because printmaking offers choices about mark making and playing with colour that are not available in other media. Using drawing as a jumping off point, we will explore a variety of subject matter using linocut, dry point on plexiglass, collagraph, and polyester plate lithography. Printmaking is technique intensive. If you love to learn process and use a variety of tools and materials, you’ll finish the week energized and exhilarated by the possibilities of print.
