This camp is an exploration of nature in our city: rivers, trees, the sky, flowers and how we connect to this land. We will use nature to create art such as sun printing and mixed media with natural materials. We will make land art to put in an urban place and public art to create visual statements about our ties to the natural world. We will go on a field trip to look at both Indigenous and Canadian art about the natural world and create our own expressions of how we relate to the natural world. This camp will introduce media including sustainable natural materials, photography, drawing and printmaking!
