Around the World + Half Day Activities

Pack your (imaginative) bags and get ready to travel the globe with Around the World! This half-day multicultural camp invites young explorers to dive into the art, music, and traditions of countries from around the world. Each day, campers will experience a new culture through hands-on activities and creative projects.

What to Expect:

• Mexico: Create colorful sombrero art, make maraca shakers, and cook fresh tortillas.
• India: Celebrate Diwali with salt dough diyas, vibrant rangoli art, and joyful bhangra dancing.
• Japan: Craft origami animals, learn a simple Japanese song, and try calligraphy with paintbrushes.
• Italy: Make mini pizzas, explore pasta art, and learn an Italian folk dance.
• Australia: Create Aboriginal dot paintings, learn about the didgeridoo, and participate in a boomerang throwing game.

The other half of each day will include a variety of outdoor activities such as sports, organized group games, nature walks, water-based fun, and creative free play. While some outdoor activities may tie into the day’s cultural theme, the focus will be on keeping kids active, social, and engaged in outdoor fun.
