Throughout the week, campers will develop their own original play, complete with singing, dancing, and storytelling. From scriptwriting to choreography, kids will work together to create a one-of-a-kind performance that they’ll present on the final day!

Each day is packed with creative activities that build performance skills and confidence:

• Create Your Story: Collaborate with your fellow Pearformers to brainstorm, write, and storyboard an original play. Learn how to structure a story with a beginning, middle, and end, and discover how to weave singing and dancing into the plot.
• Acting & Reader’s Theatre: Develop your acting skills through fun exercises in expression, body language, and voice projection. Practice your lines with Reader’s Theatre techniques, focusing on confidence and clarity without the pressure of memorizing everything.
• Dance & Choreography: Learn exciting dance routines and basic choreography techniques. Experiment with different dance styles and movements to bring energy and creativity to your performance.
• Singing & Songwriting: Belt out your favorite tunes and work on singing techniques like breath control and projection. Combine your singing with choreography to create show-stopping musical numbers.
• Props, Costumes, and Rehearsals: Get hands-on with prop-making and costume design to bring your story to life. Rehearse your scenes, refine your dance moves, and prepare for the big final performance!
