Community Helpers + Half-Day Activities

Join us for Our Community, where young explorers dive into the fascinating world of community heroes! This half-day camp introduces kids to the people who help our neighborhoods thrive—from chefs and doctors to construction workers and veterinarians. Through hands-on activities, role-playing, and creative crafts, campers will discover the importance of teamwork, service, and caring for others.

What to Expect:

• Firefighters: Discover what firefighters do, craft firefighter hats, and practice a fun “fire drill” obstacle course.
• Mail Carriers: Explore how mail carriers deliver important letters, create a personalized mailbox, and play “mail delivery” relay races.
• Farmers: Learn how farmers grow our food, plant seeds to take home, and craft farm animal puppets.
• Librarians: Discover how librarians help us find books, create your own mini storybook, and act out a favorite story in a fun puppet show.
• Park Rangers: Learn how park rangers protect nature, go on a mini nature walk, and create animal track stamps.

The other half of each day will include a variety of outdoor activities such as sports, organized group games, nature walks, water-based fun, and creative free play. While some activities may tie into our community themes, the focus will be on keeping kids active, social, and engaged in outdoor fun.
