Queen City Yacht Club offers an unforgettable experience on Toronto Island! With drop-off at York & Queens Quay, kids are guided by certified CANSail instructors in a relaxed, fun environment. Our campers learn leadership skills, build confidence and forge lasting friendships—all while making memories on the water!

Experience the Magic of QCYC Summer Camp: Where City Life Meets Island Escape
At Queen City Yacht Club (QCYC), our summer camp offers a truly one-of-a-kind experience that combines the thrill of the water with the serene beauty of the Toronto Islands. Imagine spending your summer days on the water, learning new skills, and exploring one of the most picturesque spots in the city — all while being part of a close-knit community that feels like a second family. Many return year after year, with some even becoming instructors. All camp participants receive a free QCYC pass, granting seasonal access to the club and island, even outside of camp. It’s more than just a camp; it’s a place where memories are made, friendships are forged!

Meet the Staff
Staff and Counsellors
Camp staff have undergone a rigorous training program through Sail Canada that tests their sailing and instructor skills. They are also trained in CPR/first aid, safesport and boat handling.
Most of our instructors were once campers at QCYC and have come back to share the love of sailing with our youth and adult programs. -
