Speaking Out and Write Like a Pro Camp

The Speaking Out! Camp will provide students, in Grades 6 and 7,  an opportunity to practice their public speaking skills as well as their general oral presentation skills. Working on intonation, tone, body posture and more, students will become more comfortable and confident about expressing themselves when speaking. The Write Like a Pro Camp will immerse students in various types of writing; from formal styles of writing to fun, and informal, writing formats. During this camp, students will explore essay writing, poetry writing, creative writing and much more! Part of writing is having an expansive vocabulary and a good knowledge of writing conventions so these will be part of the exploration into writing as well.
