STS offers a wide variety of camps that are sure to have children excited, engaged, and energized over the summer months. Whether it’s exploring the outdoors on our beautiful 220-acre campus, or creating in the Innovation Lab, or honing skills in the Sports Centre, campers will learn to embrace challenges with curiosity, pursue their passions, and most importantly have fun!

Explore one of Alberta's most beautiful school campuses! STS is known for its offering of a well-rounded education in the arts, sciences and design, and now all are welcome to try out these activities in the summer. We offer camps for all kinds of interests, including outdoor adventures, visual and performing arts, STEAM/coding/robotics, and the list goes on! All are welcome – you do not need to be an STS student to participate in STS’s summer programs! Additionally, busing is available to and from the campus to make this an easy option for families during the summer.

The Our Kids review of Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School Camps
Summer camps at Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School (STS) offer a rich variety of summer learning experiences, running the spectrum from arts to sports to tech and everything in between. Camps are led by experienced teachers on this sprawling, resource-rich campus south of Calgary. The school is equipped with a Sports Centre, Innovation Lab, theatre, a pond, hiking trails, and numerous other features used by the camps. Kids are challenged to push their boundaries outward, in a setting where “nothing but the best” is a lived motto. A dynamic love of learning has driven the school’s 50-plus-year growth. Against that backdrop, kids are inspired to challenge themselves, learn from each other, grow, and (of course!) have a ton of fun.

Director's Message
Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School's (STS's) summer camp programs offer a wide variety of unique experiences that are sure to have children ages 4-17 excited, engaged, and energized over the summer months. Whether exploring the outdoors on our beautiful 220-acre campus, creating imagining, and inventing in the Innovation Lab, or honing sport skills in the Sports Centre, there is an enriched learning experience for everyone to "say yes" to!
Our Summer Camps mirror STS's focus on inspiring compassionate, curious, and creative global citizens who lead with courage. In our natural setting and state-of-the-art facilities, young campers will learn to embrace challenges with curiosity. They will be able to pursue their passions while enjoying all that our incredible campus has to offer. Most importantly, they will have fun and meet new friends!
To be able to offer exceptional camps that will suit a wide variety of interests, we have partnered with several experts, including Next Gen EduCare, NBC Camps, Okotoks Basketball Association, and more.
Staff and Counsellors
STS is known for fostering excellence in teaching - and the majority of our camps are led by either STS faculty and coaches who are experts in specific areas needed for the theme of the camp. Campers will be well cared for, safe, and guaranteed to learn as part of our camps!
