    The Cadet Program offers Canadian youth (ages 12-18) free opportunities to develop leadership, citizenship, and fitness through engaging sea, land, and air activities. Designed to build confidence and promote positive personal growth, the program provides a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Rooted in Canadian military values, it helps guide youth through their journey into adulthood, preparing them for the future with essential life skills. With 111 locations across Ontario, the program is easily accessible to youth across the province, offering a valuable experience for young Canadians.

    You will learn a wide range of transferable skills, such as the ability to command tasks, make decisions, plan and organize tasks and work as an effective team player as well as independently.     Registration Details

    Joining Cadets is as easy as 1-2-3!

    Step 1
    Once you have read about the three different elements, decide whether you want to join Sea Cadets, Army Cadets or Air Cadets. Find a cadet unit close to your home by visiting the Corps and Squadron Directory.

    Step 2
    Go to the Online Registration Tool to begin your process! Before starting your online application ensure you have this information ready: your health card, the address and phone numbers of all parents/guardians.

    Step 3
    The corps/squadron staff will be in touch to determine a time to review official identification, address any questions they require clarification on, and welcome you to the Cadet Program!
