Toronto Film School - Acting Academy

Step into the spotlight! In this immersive TFS Summer Academy, high school students will work with instructors from Toronto Film School to explore the craft of acting in a supportive, hands-on environment. 

Students will delve into foundational techniques such as camera awareness, character work, script analysis, blocking, stagecraft, improvisation, and how to be authentic and truthful in a role.  

Guided by experienced industry professionals, students will practice movement and vocal control while preparing scenes for both live and on–camera performances.

This week-long acting academy provides a peek into the hands-on learning and industry-focused training that defines our full-time Acting for Film, TV and the Theatre Diploma Program at Toronto Film School.
