Our camps focus on building friendships, improving social skills, academics, and engaging in physical activities. This is a unique opportunity for your child to enjoy a break from school while keeping their minds engaged. One on one support is available.

At Vianney, we specialize in helping children with learning challenges and
exceptionalities reach their potential. Our summer camp condenses our proven
educational model into an engaging, week-long program.
Each camper undergoes an initial assessment, and a customized learning plan
is created to match their academic level. We strike the perfect balance
between focused learning and fun activities to keep children on task without
stress.
Parents are consistently amazed by the progress their child achieves in
just one week. In fact, 60% of our campers continue their journey with us at
Vianney Academy through our tutoring or our full-time school programs.

Registration Details
Vianney Summer Camp welcomes applicants on a first-come, first-served
basis, including limited spaces for campers requiring one-on-one support. To
register, please complete the registration form and submit a 25% deposit.
Contact us at vianneyacademy@gmail.com to request a registration package.
After submitting the completed package, an in-person or virtual assessment
will be scheduled. Registrations canceled before June 1 will receive a 50%
deposit refund; after June 1, deposits are non-refundable. Enrollment is
subject to availability.

During the school year, Vianney Academy specializes in helping kids struggling with academics, offering individualized curriculum and learning. Summer programs follow from this, similarly emphasizing individual instruction. The success of the school and its summer camp is rooted in founder Karen Uschold’s intensely personal connection to learning challenges, and her parallel desire to remedy them. She dove into teaching because her two children live with dyslexia and autism, respectively. The summer camps she's created offer a close-knit setting where kids are mentored both academically and socially by instructors who sincerely care for each child.

Meet the Staff
Director's Message
Karen Uschold, Vianney Academy of Learning’s founder and executive director, began teaching children with disabilities out of necessity. Her own daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia at age 7. Three years later, her younger son was diagnosed with autism. Unwilling to accept the bleak futures the doctors, social workers, and therapists painted for her children, she researched teaching techniques and therapies that would help and eventually overcome the challenges her children faced. The success she achieved gathered the attention of many other parents of children with disabilities. Soon she began formerly tutoring other children, using the same techniques that had worked so well with her own children. It wasn’t long before she began teaching children full time.
Vianney Academy of Learning is a private school and tutoring centre. We offer full time schooling as well as evening tutoring, educational therapy, March break and summer camp. We specialize in teaching children with dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, autism, aspergers, and global learning disability.
Staff and Counsellors
Each Vianney camp staff member undergoes comprehensive training in the
Vianney model, which includes implementing educational therapies, conducting
floor exercises, delivering our specialized reading program, and providing
First Aid. Most of our staff are full-time Vianney instructors—highly
skilled educators with extensive experience supporting children with
learning challenges and exceptionalities. Our campers feel welcomed and
understood, fostering a love of learning that leaves them eager to return
each day and often disappointed when the camp day ends. -
