This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

Courage: Kids and youth discover the power of their own voice, gain confidence, self-esteem, self-awareness and make new friends and have fun!
Creativity: Students will get creative, and discover new and fun ways to express themselves.

YPT Drama School is thrilled to offer eight weeks of dynamic and engaging Summer Drama Camps from June 30 – August 22 for campers entering SK–Grade 12. Students will explore their creativity, discover fun new ways to express themselves, and perform on a YPT stage for family and friends at the end of camp! YPT Summer Camps take place at YPT 161 Studios and our theatre spaces across the street at 165 Front Street East.

At YPT Summer Drama Camps, students will…

Explore acting, voice, movement and character creation
Gain confidence and creativity through drama exercises and improv activities
Work collaboratively with peers to foster teamwork, communication and trust
Play drama games, make new friends and have fun!
Create and perform their own original play on a YPT stage on the final day of camp!

Please note that with the exception of our Entering SK programming, all of our Summer Camp programs run for two weeks.
