One thing my daughter continuously speaks about was the quality of education at Merrick Preparatory School. She loves the teachers and the time they invest in the students. She was even excited about her upcoming exams. She also enjoys the various outings and extracurricular activities the school offers. 

We are pleased to see my daughter’s growth in education and self-esteem. Her motivation and desire to excel in everything she does are noticeable, and we truly appreciate that.

We receive weekly updates from the school, detailing what the students studied and accomplished that week. This frequent communication from the teachers, who provide specific details about each subject, is something we greatly appreciate. Sometimes, we just send a thank-you message to the teachers for their dedication. The professionalism and kindness of the staff, especially in handling our situation as a family making a long trip each day, are commendable. The way the school works with us and responds to our needs reinforces our decision to make the effort to get our daughter there.

My daughter's language has changed to reflect this sense of belonging, always using "we" instead of "I." Our daughter has discovered new interests, which she enjoys and never knew she could do before. She has started playing soccer and has developed a love for reading, particularly English books, setting ambitious reading goals for herself. Her level of self-discipline and organization has also improved, which we attribute to the positive changes from attending Merrick. These achievements are a testament to the school's impact on her development.

From the beginning of our application process, the administration was very accommodating and reassuring. Our interactions with the headmaster and teachers have been amazing. The consistent updates and the dedication of the staff to our child's well-being earn them an easy A-plus from us. We are grateful for the quality education and the supportive environment Merrick provides.

The presence of students from different countries around the world interested me, because we wanted our children to learn how to interact with a diverse group of people.

Despite the initial language issue, she loved the school environment, including the food and the diverse student body. Her positive attitude and good reports from teachers encouraged us and made us feel that the effort to get her there was worthwhile. We were initially concerned that changing her curriculum from French to English would be difficult for her because she had been educated in French since she was little, even though we spoke English at home. I would ask her daily how she was adjusting to the new school and curriculum. Gradually, she responded positively, saying she found the switch manageable and actually enjoyed the quality of education at Merrick.
