BHMS Junior High Students Take the Lead - Terry Fox Event 2014

BHMS Junior High students took the lead with a run/walk around the perimeter of the school grounds followed by many activities such as face painting, skipping, a bouncy castle, mini soccer, hairspray and nail art, target toss, four square, tug of war and parachute games. We connected with local farmers, and health food stores who have proudly supported BHMS by donating organic hot dogs and lemonade creating a great lunch menu; all to raise additional funds.  

Since 2005 BHMS has been part of the Terry Fox movement to raise funds for cancer research. As a community we have raised close to $30,000. Terry Fox emulates what we strive to instil in our students - Portrait of a Graduate. Terry Fox did not set out to be an international icon but rather was one person with an idea and a personal commitment. We want each of our students to realize their potential to make a difference!
