Junior High Marketplace Raises Funds for Lesotho, South Africa

Junior High students develop their business plan and bring their final product to the BHMS Community.

Junior High entrepreneurs’ creative imaginations will captivate you with their innovative start up businesses.

Junior High student entrepreneurs apply their skills by:

• Creating a business
• Submitting Business Plans
• Acquiring and pricing their inventory
• Planning and decorating their shops 
• Negotiating lease of premises by signing rental agreements with BHMS
• Paying hydro and other arranged services

On Marketplace Day 

• Students experience a day in the life of an entrepreneur by setting up and selling their product to the BHMS Community

Following Marketplace Day

• Students submit completed Financial Statements 
• Students file Income and Entertainment Tax forms

All collected taxes and rent benefit our twinned school in Lesotho.

Founded in 2004, Help Lesotho works solely in the AIDS-ravaged country of Lesotho in southern Africa.  Help Lesotho’s programs foster hope and motivation in those who are most in need: vulnerable children, girls, youth and grandmothers.
