Gr. 9 (current) — When I first arrived at Prestige School – Toronto Campus in Grade 9, I had just moved from Korea and could not speak English at all. It was overwhelming at first, but every teacher was incredibly kind and patient. They helped me step by step, making sure I understood my lessons and encouraging me to practice speaking every day. Their support gave me the confidence to improve; now, I can speak English fluently. The small class sizes and personalized attention made a huge difference in my learning experience. I truly love how much the school values each student’s success and well-being. The welcoming environment made it easy to adjust, and I always felt like I belonged. I wish I had known before coming to Prestige School how much support was available for international students. I was nervous about fitting in and keeping up with my studies, but the teachers and classmates made me feel comfortable from the start. The school provides a strong academic foundation while also encouraging extracurricular involvement, which helped me grow both academically and personally. If I could change one thing, I would love to see more structured after-school programs, especially for students learning English. More opportunities to practice language skills outside of class would be beneficial. Still, my experience at Prestige School has been incredibly positive, and I am grateful for the education and support I have received here.

Gr. 3 (current) — I love Prestige School because it has given me unforgettable memories that will stay with me forever. Throughout my time here, I met incredible friends who made every day exciting and enjoyable. The friendships I formed are meaningful, and our shared experiences will always be special. I also had the privilege of learning from amazing teachers who were not only knowledgeable but also kind and supportive. Their guidance helped me grow academically and personally. The school provided an environment where I felt encouraged to achieve my best. From classroom lessons to fun events, every moment at Prestige School has shaped me into the person I am today. I will always cherish the time I spent here and my lifelong connections there.

JK (current) — I absolutely love Prestige School! I have been here my whole life, and I have never once wanted to leave. I have learned valuable lessons at this school that will stick with me forever. I also have been blessed with amazing teachers who, while strict, can teach us their subjects with ease and stick by us in order to make sure we understand the lesson. The teachers here are one of a kind and are very lovable, for they not only give a great class and lecture by telling us anecdotes so that we understand better but also by being friendly and approachable. If I could change one thing about this school, it would be for more students to come here because not many people know about this wonderful school and the amazing people here.

Gr. 3 (current) — I really love The Prestige School. It has a very friendly and close-knit environment, and the small classrooms allow the students to ask any questions and have personal help from the teachers if needed. There is not much I would like to change about the school since I am satisfied with my experience for 10 years. All the students at school are very friendly and supportive and are willing to help each other if needed. The teachers make sure students are prepared for their post-secondary education and will not be too overwhelmed with the workload and testing. There are lots of activities available at the school, including sports like basketball, soccer, volleyball, and table tennis, and other clubs like student council, DECA, and debate.

(4.1)

Gr. 3 (current) — Prestige School is a school with an actual foundation in education. Teachers are highly qualified, students are willing to learn, and therefore, you are surrounded by people with the same goals in mind as you. Class sizes are small, which adds to a more personalized experience, and you get more attention from the teacher; at the same time, that’s a negative because there aren’t as many people as in regular schools. Usually, you are in a class of 15 students, most of whom you’ve known for a while already. Nonetheless, that can play to your advantage if you truly want to focus on your work and obtain high grades for higher education. The programs and clubs offered are a lot relative to the amount of students.

Profile of Olga Margold, Principal, Prestige School

That willingness to explain things differently, to trust the intellect of the students and understand that not everyone learns in the same way became a hallmark of the tutoring program and the backbone of The Prestige School and is what Margold credits for its success.
