(5) Student Experience
I absolutely love Prestige School! I have been here my whole life, and I have never once wanted to leave. I have learned valuable lessons at this school that will stick with me forever. I also have been blessed with amazing teachers who, while strict, can teach us their subjects with ease and stick by us in order to make sure we understand the lesson. The teachers here are one of a kind and are very lovable, for they not only give a great class and lecture by telling us anecdotes so that we understand better but also by being friendly and approachable. If I could change one thing about this school, it would be for more students to come here because not many people know about this wonderful school and the amazing people here.
(5) School Leadership
Yes, I respect the teachers greatly. They teach us so many important lessons and not just revolving around the subjects they teach. They help us understand valuable life lessons which we will use for a long time. Not only that, but the subjects and the curriculum we went through are advanced, for in a primary school, we get a grade above in subjects like mathematics and English. Due to our more advanced subjects, the teachers here are really understanding and teach great lectures, offer extra help, and provide us with multiple ways to understand one topic.
(5) Teaching
In a way, teachers do ask for a lot, but it is in a way that benefits us. Their putting pressure on us and for us to prioritize our education allows us to work hard and get used to a work-hard ethic. This allows us always to be aware of what our teachers expect of us since we understand the rubric, and they provide us with a lot of information that we retain and then show in our work and overall lives. For the teachers, I believe that they have high hopes for us since all teachers are strict. This shows their dedication to our success and how they want us to succeed by being hard on us, for in the end, it benefits us.
(5) Academics
I think the work is the perfect amount of hard because if work was too easy, we wouldn’t learn anything, and if it was just right, it wouldn’t challenge us enough. The work is the perfect amount of hard, it allows us students to not only understand the material but to go above and beyond and to do extra work in order to help us not only succeed in primary and secondary school but also help in our future plans, whether that be a high education, a business, or a workplace environment. We have learned to push ourselves to be the best version of ourselves, and it is all thanks to the teachers pushing us and giving us all this work.
(5) Extracurriculars
I take part in a variety of clubs, such as the student council, DECA club, debate club, and volleyball club. These clubs offer a large variety of various knowledge and information which I have learned and begun to use in my life and will continue to use in my post-secondary education. I believe that my school should continue to offer more clubs for children who have many different preferences and should be allowed to explore not only their hobbies but things that are new to them.
(5) Students
The students here are very kind and funny. Due to this being a fairly small school, we have the privilege to know each other. Therefore, no one ever gets left behind. Since everyone knows each other, it is much easier to join clubs, switch to different classes, or spend time before classes start. Having been here my whole life, I have seen many people come and go, and many that leave always regret having to start in a big place where no one even bothers to come up to introduce themselves and the overall school. Upperclassmen are constantly helping out younger students, advising them on the teachers, how they expect you to work, and the type of students here.
(5) School Life
Due to my school being fairly smaller compared to other schools, I wouldn’t have to show much, but with every room that I would take them into, there are funny stories and good memories which I can explain to them in order for the new visitors to feel comfortable and included. I’ll show them around the classes and all the rooms with the various grades. Personally, my favourite place in this school is the courtyard, where we have a playground for the younger grades, which I grew up around and saw change. The high school classroom, which has a ping pong table inside, and the costume room. Our school throws yearly plays, and in this room, there are many dresses, hats and various other colourful costumes which are very cool to see.
(5) Community
Yes, this school feels like home to me. This is because I have been here my whole life and have grown up here, and I have met such amazing people. I spend a lot of my time here, and not only because I am obliged to. I spend my afterschool hours here because I not only have fun with my friends. But also because the teachers here after school hours act like our friends, I can talk to them about problems I have, and they give me their own experiences and suggest some alternative things that I can do along with helping the younger grades with homework. But everyone here is always included regardless of age.
(5) School Location
Our school's location has a very nice plaza nearby, which contains a supermarket and various fast food places. During lunch, many people tend to get their lunch from there since they don’t want to eat their lunch from home, so they might as well take a six-minute bus ride and get a good meal or a tasty drink.
(5) Admissions
When I was younger I didn’t have to go through an addition process due to me being there in junior kindergarten. However from what I have heard the process is not difficult for as long as you know basic knowledge for age and or grade you should be fine. Since Prestige not only values knowledge but also the individuals character, they want to make sure that the child is kind and can get along with other students and teachers.
