International Language Camps – Fun Program (Ages 6-9)

What’s the best way to learn a new language? By having fun!
Our Fun Program is specially designed for younger campers, particularly those leaving home for the first time. With a caring and experienced team, we ensure that children feel safe, confident, and excited to explore, learn, and grow.

Objectives and Spirit

Campers in the Fun Program will:

• Make friends with children from around the world.
• Learn or improve their French or English at their own level and rhythm while having fun.
• Discover life in the Alps through activities, visits, and excursions.
• Gain independence and confidence in a supportive environment.
• Enjoy a wide variety of sports, cultural, and artistic activities.

Daily Schedule

Morning:

• Interactive language lessons in English or French, with no more than eight students per class. Groups are organized by language level and focus on dynamic methods like role-playing, drama, and hands-on activities.

Afternoon:

• Sports Activities: Activities adapted to their age and include swimming, ice skating, mini-golf, hiking with dogs, climbing, trampoline, archery tag, and team games.
• Cultural and Artistic Activities: Visits to local farms, cheese factories, and museums, as well as arts and crafts, pottery, cooking classes, and interactive animal experiences.

Evening:

• Time for relaxation, group games, and connecting with new friends.

Special Highlights

• Showtime Saturdays: Throughout the week, campers work with a drama teacher to prepare a production, which they perform for parents and other campers on Saturday.
• Excursions (for 2-week programs or longer): Campers experience unforgettable adventures such as:
  • Visiting the stunning Mer de Glace glacier in Chamonix.
  • Taking a gondola ride to Aiguille du Midi for breathtaking views of Mont Blanc.
  • Exploring Annecy’s historic canals and its beautiful blue-green lake.
