Physical literacy and fitness. They’re outside, they’re on the move, biking for hours at a time. At advanced camps, biking and training can be physically demanding. Even at camps where this is one activity among others, they gain physical literacy (aka the joy of physical activity) which becomes both muscle memory and mental memory carried into the future.
