This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Interpersonal skills: "Allies" Girls/Youth increase and build their confidence and resiliency in our anti-bullying program. Girls/Youth learn effective communication strategies, build self confidence, self-esteem and foster connection and friendships.
  • Curiosity: Operation Smart Girls/Youth develop an enthusiasm for and skills in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Making gooey experiments and showing girls/youth that science is fun and builds their confidence.

Activities, games, crafts, experiments, role playing and discussions address topics including: bullying, body image & self-esteem, sports, physical activity & nutrition, stress management, and leadership & community action.
