Blyth Academy Alumni wins 2017 Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford

Blyth Academy is delighted to share the news that Blyth Academy Scholar Neria Aylward has won a 2017 Rhodes Scholarship to Oxford University. Presently, a 3rd year student at Pembroke College, Cambridge Neria obtained a First in her Part One exams while rowing for her college and captaining the Cambridge University Polo team. Her Master's degree at Oxford will focus on Canadian aboriginal issues.
Neria's award caps a successful year in which Blyth Academy students received offers from Cambridge, Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, Oxford as well as all of the leading Canadian universities to start in September 2017.
